The hard-working half bat, half white rabbit narrator /commentator of Kodocha.
Babitto's ("Babbit's," if you want to write it in English/correctly) existence is a key difference between the manga and anime versions of KNO, since he's completely absent from the first. He's usually found adding comments during key moments in the anime, narrating or recapitulating occurrences, and interacting with the characters.
I refer to Babitto as "him," but in truth his gender is sort of a mystery (I think the reason for that is that he has no gender, at least as far as I know). During one of the early New York episodes, Babitto develops a sort of crush on a girl (Sicil), and the question that's immediately asked is "could it be that you're a boy?"
Babitto sometimes longs for attention from the main cast (and he wouldn't mind some respect and recognition), but Sana is always happy to pretend she doesn't know he exists, and she's quick to dismiss what he's saying as unimportant. For his part, Hayama is happy to chop Babitto on the head whenever he makes a comment about the way he should act. So overall, Babitto often gets abused and ignored, but somehow he's still always happy to pop up and comment about what's going on...
