Probably the most pampered squirrel on earth. Well, hopefully….
One of the first things that strike you as... unique during the first episode of Kodocha (after hearing Sana say she has a pimp and discovering that her alarm clock is a pig in a hula skirt dancing to a Mambo), is that her mom has a small squirrel living on her head. Indeed, Maro-chan is the lucky inhabitant of Mama's weirdo head dresses, which range from a small house for Maro-chan to a miniature amusement park, complete with (really catchy) music and blinking lights.
As mama proudly demonstrates when Hayama bluntly asks if Maro-chan… goes to the bathroom on her head (an incident Rei-kun will never forget), he is a very clean and well-mannered squirrel.
